Dorchester is a neighborhood of Boston that is about 2 miles south of the downtown area. This neighborhood has a friendly atmosphere, yet unlike other areas of Boston, it isn't begging to be visited by outsiders. On a warm fall day, camera in hand, I took the afternoon off to explore the area between the JFK and Field's Corner stops to learn more about the place I was living in.
